I came across this Youtube video and I think that Destiny is heading toward hitting this wall in a hurry.
The DLC system in Destiny was designed to combat the 'entry by new players' problem, but Bungie expects their players to 'throw out all their cards' every time a DLC comes out. That is also probably one of the reasons why so many people are leaving, every DLC Bungie invalidates all the gear you previously had and forces you to start over. This makes it very likely that people would rather just quit, than to spend several hundred hours playing the same content to get as powerful as they were before.
I personally think that Bungie should focus on making interesting new raids, story missions, raid gear/weapons, or other imcomperables for DLC and save raising the level cap for sizable expansions (IE: Comet/Destiny 2). So for example you try and get raid weapons for both VoG and Crota because they have different elemental damage and VoG gear is anti-Vex and Crota Gear is anti-Hive.
What do you all think?

11 RespuestasSee i was not affected by the reset. I had my game before TDB came out but I didn't have any resetting happen. Mind you, I work on boats where wifi is nonexistent. So I can't play for two weeks at a time. My growth was slowed because of that. So what was the issue with a reset and where did it hit?
