Favorite Sword Type?
What is your favorite type of sword? I'm looking particularly at historical swords from all around the world. See pic for reference.

Odachi is my favorite. The hook sword was used by monks (dont remeber what kind) and they usually held two. One in each hand and when they wanted to attack at a longer range they would hook the two hook parts together and swing in a continuous motion. It would tear through flesh easier than a hand through water.

I've always been partial to Katanas or Ōdachi. For a Western sword, Rapier is my personal preference.
