Since (unless they break the legal contract) we're already guaranteed a whopping 4 Destiny titles over the next 10 years, I'm just wondering, at this exact moment in time, do you plan to buy Destiny 2? There's no 'maybe' option, because I want to force you all to actually take a definitive stance, instead of waffling in the middle. Feel free to discuss :3 If you vote, it'd be useful to know A) what system you're on, and B) roughly how long you've been playing Destiny! Edit: Wow, lots of replies!! It's awesome how many day-one and since-beta vets are still playing/intending to purchase the sequel. Even if the current game has flaws, it's encouraging to know Bungie hasn't burned through all of the good will in the community yet. Edit: Besides a lot of vets throwing in their 2 cents, and voting yes for buying the sequel, it looks like HoW will be a large deciding factor for many people. Here's hoping Bungie doesn't drop the ball :3 Edit: It's come up twice now, so I thought I'd include it here: Bungie has already confirmed that player progression will carry over to Destiny 2: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/07/bungie-wants-player-progress-to-carry-over-to-destiny-sequel Edit: Okay, comments have officially gotten away from me, too many to reply to at this point. Glad to see that this has sparked such positive and (for the most part) intelligent discussion! Pretty surprised to see how many day-one and beta players are still here, and still showing their support for the game. A few thoughts about the poll: Remember, this is a yes/no poll. Just because the overwhelming majority of people voted 'yes', doesn't mean they just somehow pre-purchased a copy of Destiny 2, a game that's barely begun to be developed. It merely means that they are LEANING TOWARDS PURCHASING IT, AT THIS POINT IN TIME. So, what I take away from this is, the community is still rather strong, and we're willing to forgive past mistakes. But we'll be watching the HoW and Comet DLCs closely, and many of us won't be blindly forking over our cash for the sequel, like we kinda did with the first one. Now, all we can do is wait and see how much the devs have listened. No clue if they will. But personally speaking, despite its flaws, I had a blast playing this game, and am willing to forgive and forget, if given the chance. ...Just, no more of that playable geometry that turns out to be a skybox crap, k?
