First off I wanna say I play with my gf all the time (even when we were just friends) and you know this kind of thing bothers me. Like why highlight a group simply because of their gender? So what if I open a clan dedicated to gay pride. Would that make it here too? There is a place for everything. And gaming is genderless. If you are a man, a woman, gay or straight it doesn't matter. All that matter is how good you are as a gamer. That said I do want to point out that lots of female players tend to either overcompensate or they feel like they have something to prove. Why? If you are good no one will care that you are a girl. And obviously it goes the other way around too. I have seen many female players complaining about how "people don't think they are gamers because they are girls" and they honestly suck. Guess what if you are a guy you get teased too. If you suck people will let you know. I think female players need to stop worrying about what guys think of them and worry more about their skills and maybe they will get more respect. Don't ask for equality and then make a club only for yourself...that's hypocritical as hell. If you want an equal playing field then earn it. Prove that you can play as well as anyone. Respect is earned, it's not a right. As long as your fame is coming out of post like this guess what, WE ARE NOT EQUAL because YOU YOURSELF ARE SETTING YOURSELF AS DIFFERENT. Think about that
