A simple solution that I have came up with could stop AFKers from AFK
An option to kick members from your strike team. A new option will appear when you inspect a member from your strike team. An option to boot. If both you and the other player hit boot on a player he will be booted
Option 2: A player will not get any awards if they have less than 30 kills in strike zone.( In the darkness zone not patrol enemies) and must be in boss room
Option 3: Must go through all darkness zones and inflict damage on boss.
Option 4: Players must kill 8 enemies in each main darkness zone. Can't be standing still for more than 2 min and 30 sec other wise boot option from option one will appear. And must use super 2 times in darkness zone. If people join in mid they can't get an exotic or legendary. Sorry if your unlucky and join in middle.
Bump this idea and maybe Bungie will listen!
Edit: The idea will only work if the player doesn't move for 5 min
Edit 2: added option 3
Edit 3: Added option 4

This is a good idea except most of the guys who "AFK" move just enough to not get kicked back to orbit anyway so i think it would be safe to assume that they would move just enough to not get voted out. There has to be a solution but this may not be the one, i think maybe if there was a timer to make it into a fight or get sent to orbit but even then they could just wait at the entrance to the fight and still get stuff for not doing anything. This is truly a problem and a kick button would be nice but many people will abuse it and a timer wouldnt help for the reasons i stated above but what else could they do? Edit: Maybe if a person gets enough bad reports they could be put into their own match making lobby where they only get grouped with each other.

My options are.. Option one : if you actually need three people for a strike then lmao you're bad and just leave and find a new group. Option two : if you don't WANT to do a strike because someone's afk... Look for a new group
-
a.) bungie already said that they wont listen to "bumps". b.) bungie CANT implement "Options" in case you havent noticed.. their coding structure doesnt allow anything like this. wither toggle on or toggle off.. no options.. no additions nothing "new" is possible.
-
Best I can think of is after the person has 5min of inactivity an option can be selected to vote kick them. Regardless if they come back after the 5min mark the option is still there in case they afk again, you won't have to wait another 5min.
-
You cant force someone into using his super.

4 RespuestasOption 1: Your playing a strike mission and find yourself kicked because the other 2 decided to vote you off. - Failed Option. Option 2: You don't get 30 kills because everyone else got there first. - Failed Option. Option 3: Person lands a bullet on boss and then goes AFK - Failed Option. Back to the drawing board you go. - sorry mon....
-
Option 5. Find a team of three through f list or recruitment forums.
-
6 RespuestasSome people would be dìcks and randomly kick others lol. Others want to run through everything and not kill the small guys. If you can make a perfect plan, I'm all for it bruh.
-
5 RespuestasOption 4: Stop worrying about what others do and instead worry about having fun yourself.
-
Option 2. Option 1 could be used against someone if you've got a two man fire team going into strikes. Option 3 is too demanding.
-
3 RespuestasThe only problem with that is, you know you'll get dicks going in as a fireteam of 2, booting people for a laugh. Some will even wait right to the end.
-
3 RespuestasNo cause you could go in with 2 complete dicks I did I did a whole strike got 140 kills the other 2 just ran behind me jumping up n down didn't get a single kill the whole strike if you get people like that what's to say they won't boot you before rewards come then you done that whole strike for nothing this is by far the most stupid suggestion anyone could come up with what a idiot
-
1 RespuestaOption 1 will be abused and Option 2 is a subjective nightmare, who's to say they are AFK or maybe just not that good but still trying. Didn't see your Option 3, but I would suggest something others have before, if you're inactive for a certain amount of time, you get kicked to orbit. Other games do this, seems to work.
-
Opt 1 would still need to contend with the potential troll where two people paired with one another (i.e. buddies in a strike team) vote to kick the third random member right before the strike completes even though he's been an active participant the entire time. Opt 2 would just result in players running around outside the instance killing mobs until they've reached their quota and then going AFK. In the end the solution would likely need to be an algorithm that accounts for inactive play time in a strike coupled with damage output within dark zones and on the boss, along with some other variables (such as proximity to teammates throughout the strike, number of deaths, etc).

2 RespuestasEditado por Numero Uno: 2/24/2015 1:24:32 AMCool, now a friend and I can be assholes (Not really assholes, maybe sometimes) and use a person to help us beat bosses faster then kick him/her when we get the bosses health down to almost nothing! We will call this trend #Kermiting!
-
I feel like if the other players report the AFKer for inactivity, said player should be kicked. They better implement this system if they are making Heroics have matchmaking.
-
Just report them as inactive over and over I have seen it work.
-
1 RespuestaNo kick option because I don't wanna get matched up with two immature kids who vote to kick me at the very end after i do most of the work

Editado por Frederic104: 2/24/2015 1:34:32 AMAwful idea, and I've had to solo Valus a few times in Roc
-
1 Respuestai send them a voice message where i just stick the mic up to my speaker and blast obnoxious porn sounds. because thats what i feel like they are doing. "f#cking with my strike"
-
2 RespuestasI actually like when people afk on the omnigul strike (favorite strike). I can kill more enemies without distractions
-
Here is what I do to ppl that afk I send game invite and usually they join and then I boot them
-
Editado por Why So Havoc: 2/24/2015 1:23:29 AMWhat about the strikes you run through and only kill what you have to and it's under the kill limit

1 RespuestaBut that would penalize people who, with their teammates approval, need to step away for a few minutes. For example, I play in a clan where all of us are adults, and most of us have kids. Sometimes, we have to step away for several minutes to help out a child who has woken up in the middle of the night or some other such thing. With your plan, we would be kicked automatically, even if the other players approved.

Your not really responding to people your just copy and pasting in all of your replies
