Tried to cheat. ..failed lol Wow the ps4 buttons are noisy aren't they!
-
The kid even came out and said it was his fault for trying to cheat people. Let it go.

1 RespuestaNope, I don't. I hope the scammer has his account reset back to level 1 (not banned, but a total reset) to see how it feels to do that to someone. If Bungie/PSN just bans him, his reaction will be defiance: "F#ck this game" "Never like this game to begin with" etc. But when you reset progress, you do exactly what he did to that kid and now HE loses everthing, as opposed to just access to the game. But the kid learned a valuable lesson and his parents will learn a valuable lesson. Do not trust people over the internet... and pay attention to what your kids are doing on the internet. It's not like someone offered to show him a technique or strategy to the game, they offered to glitch his account to rank him up. Thus he got scammed. I don't feel bad that he learned a painful lesson, because lessons like that stick with you for a long time. It makes gullible and susceptible people more aware of jerks like Kirmit. So in the end, he's gaining valuable life knowledge from this, so I don't feel sorry in the least for him.

I feel bad that the kid got dooped but, at the same time he learned a lesson about trusting strangers online and "cheating". I think Kirmit should be banned from Destiny and PSN. The kid however, should not be given anything for having tried to cheat. Its a game I understand but, cheating and trusting random strangers are life lessons. He won't learn anything if he is given all kinds of stuff for trying to manipulate and cheat it. They were both wrong technically. Too many young people wanna take short cuts and cheat their way through everything. Kids are not taught how to lose and win with respect. Everyone gets a trophy, the kid who works his butt off gets the same reward as the kid who refuses to put in effort. Its pretty ridiculous. This is why you have kids killing their parents, friends, and siblings for minute stuff like taking away their computer or beating them in a game. For this reason, I don't allow my daughter to cheat when she plays board games or cards or whatever. She is 7. She has to learn not only how to lose with dignity but, also how to win and still show respect. I also teach her that if she does lose, try again. There is nothing wrong with losing as long as you don't give up. You can't win everything and you can't cheat in life so you should learn how to put in the effort for the reward.

Kid knew what he was getting into...moral of the story...don't share your account and stop trying to hack the game.
-
Video is too long
-
I feel bad for him, but his parents should have taught him about dealing with strangers. The Internet is full of bastards like that guy who only exist online to make others miserable for their own amusement. When my daughter is old enough to understand, she'll get that warning right along side not trusting strangers in real life.

-
Don't trust strangers.
-
No, he learned a valuable life lesson, although the troll does need to be punished.
-
Kid shouldn't have been talking to people on psn and he DEFINITELY should NOT have been streaming as well. He was naive and got what was coming to him. He's just lucky it wasn't the candy in the van trick
-
6 RespuestasI feel sorry for him but also feel he's a dumbass so it cancels out.
-
I'm on the fence on this once, both were in the wrong, kid shouldn't want to be cheating, guy shouldn't take other peoples hard work away, even if its in a video game.
-
It's his fault. Didn't his parents say: DON'T TRUST STRANGERS?
-
8 RespuestasHe shouldn't even have any characters as he shouldn't officially have the game, he's under age, his parents are irresponsible for buying him it, there are age restrictions for a reason, I'm sure a lot more mature 11yr olds play the game with no problem, but it still doesn't take away the fact that the kid should not have been playing the game, never mind trying to cheat! The guy who deleted his characters is an arsehole though, the kid will run into more of those as he grows up!
-
Its a hoax! It was fake
-
1 RespuestaIf kids can't be mature and wise on the internet they should not be on it with other 17+ players. Play Bob the builder for God's sake.
-
Nope never
-
One word for Kermit. Karma.
-
I feel sorry for the kid, but at the same time I think it was good for him to get a lesson and never do that with a stranger. About the cheating, yes is not good but I won't burn him for that. Any human being on earth that says they never ever has said a lie or try to "cheat" their way around on anything at least once in their lifetime is a liar and fake. We all do this at a certain point in our life. Yes cheating is not correct but we are humans and it's in our nature to commit errors. When we make a mistake we need to learn from them and try to get better and not do it again. We also need to understand and accept the consequences. In this case the consequence for the kid to suffer was going around an easy way out and cheat that got his characters deleted and he will never get them back. Bungie by no means should get his stuff back. It's a lesson and a harsh one I know but it's the correct decision. The boy will now learn and hopefully never again believe in strangers to go around an easy way out. His parents (which by no means I'm saying their bad parents because they might be the best in all the world) did made a mistake and should've been a little more on top of the child. Now about that Kermit or whatever dude, he definitely needs to get a ban for good. This guy is a disgrace. I really hope Bungie gets the ban hammer straight with this guy. Hopefully they can get his name and all so that if he makes another account he can't and gets banned instantly. Well, that's my two cents on the matter...peace.

1 RespuestaOnly just seen it, kermit is a total dick.

6 RespuestasEditado por PennyRoyal77: 2/20/2015 6:27:12 AMKermit is as close to a literal pile of anal secretions as can be produced in this world and I truly feel sorry for him that he was destined to be born as himself. I can only assume that in real life he's constantly plagued by people following him around with handfuls of toilet paper attempting to wipe him up and flush him. Anyone who gets off on that truly has a sad life so ultimately I pity Kermit more than the kid. The kid did a dumb thing but kids are dumb. That's nearly the entire purpose of being a kid. A learning experience, none the less.
-
Apparently his parents never taught him to not trust strangers...
-
What rational human being would not feel bad for the kid?
-
I dont know... i could go either way with this one. IT WAS FUKING GUNNY DOE!!!! TEACH THAT KID A LESSON. BLAH
-
That was not trolling, that was just being an asshole to a kid
