TBH this is yet another rubbish attempt to rile people, you can activate radiance even when you have ‘Fireborn’ attached (before you die) and taking down 2 knights will generate 9 orbs of light, if you melee the ads then you can add a few more to that with LBN helm. Void is great for the Swordbearer only on Normal the rest of the time unless they bunch up you generate far less. Just stick to your own game plan and stop fishing.
