I've done both ways... left side on one character and middle on the other two...
I seriously can't imagine the plan was for the left side to be the "best" strategy, cause that run was insane.
Felt like WW3 with all the firepower it takes to do it like that

Not "best". Most used. Best strategy was bottom middle wait for Crota and get him while he is on left or right. Obviously with the gatekeeper on hard mode, this is no longer the best strategy.

I was referring to hard mode sorry. I don't think most groups are doing the left side on hard I meant.
