So what about the guy who doesn't buy it but plays twelve minutes of crucible, has a k/d of 0.21 from 4 kills and gets the ice breaker? That guardian got it the same way(RNG) you are saying it should BE EARNED. Is that really earning it? Some people do not have the RNG of others.
Edit: you are right about it being unfair, definitely.
