I have only bought one exotic from xur. But I definitely don't think that xur is ruining the game. Of the 7 exotics I have I use maybe 3 of them on a regular basis. The fact that I like them has nothing to do with the rarity of the item. It's the fact that the item is unique in comparison to all the other items of it's class. Xur is just there to give people a chance if their luck has been really bad. I was grinding for Suros for so long, I had received maybe 10-11 exotics in the meantime and dismantled the dupes and ones I didn't want yet never got Suros. I worked harder than some that have received from their first raid or whatever so I don't think it's a problem that i bought it from xur. Besides, the more people that have good exotic weapons and armour the easier it is for other players in raids and strikes when they are in their fire team. This is a community/ team based game so it helps if everyone has good gear to participate with.
