My point is you play to gain, since you didn't get the message here's it simplified. You play a shit ton of hours in hopes of getting that shiny new weapon/ gear you've heard people get out of the game, you finally get the gear you want and by that time you didn't hours grinding destiny, while as xûr, the fresh new player with some saved up coins bought the same thing you wanted, and did it in less, or half the time you spent. It's un fair.

There can also be a contradiction in your statement that can render it irrelevant. In which you say that you spend countless amount of hours getting the item you want, and any fresh new player can just buy it from xur. but how about this scenario in which a guardian goes in the crucible and receives an exotic you've been wanting while going at a k/d ratio of .89. He was completely useless on the team yet he got the best reward out of the entire team. He didn't spend any time to get that weapon. Or how about you and your friends go into the nexus nightfall(which took us 15 minutes) and he constantly is dying while you're carrying the team on your back, and he receives an icebreaker. Did he truly earn that exotic by putting in countless of hours? No. He just got lucky based off of rng. So do you, as a person who puts countless amount of hours into the game, dislike those people? They're basically acquiring the gear the same exact way that you are, aren't they? What I'm basically trying to say is if you are going to dislike xur and the "fresh new players" who purchase his gear, then you should dislike most of the people who get lucky based off rng. but that's dumb, don't you think? because the entire game revolves around rng. Bungie stated that people who purchase from xur are the people who haven't gotten lucky off of their rng loot system. Both these "fresh new players" and those unlucky veteran guardians who haven't been so lucky can finally purchase the weapon they finally wanted. I'm sorry bro, I just had to rant. I saw an error in your post and I had to place my opinions and thoughts on it.
