I completely disagree with you, I have 500 plus hours played and only exotics dropped for me were exotic bounties. Rng doesn't bless me so I rely on xur for most of my exotics and I'm not some Christmas noob, I've ran 3 nightfalls and 6 raids ever since tdb came out and before that I was running vog on all characters..

Im 800 in. Had all three classes 30 pre dlc. Been raiding and nf since about a month after game dropped. Thank god I was finally able to buy ib.

Yep... I played many hours with no exotic drops.... Monte Carlo was the first Exotic drop for me on VOG hard, my third run BTW. Nightfall usually gave me legendaries or 6 coins (WTF) VOG always gave me energies or shards or armour i already had. The DLC is where i started to really see exotic drops happen more frequent...

Saw 1 guy first VOG hard get Hawkmoon AND Vex... needless to say everyone else in the team were deathly quiet!!
