Completely disagree with you. Xür gives players (even the hardcore ones) a [i]choice[/i] as to which Exotic weapons or armour they want. He does does it rarely but routinely. This is a valuable contribution to keeping people interested. Also, if not for him. I would've walked away a long time ago. RNG [i]hates[/i] me. I've never gotten better than a Blue from the Crucible. Never gotten better than a Blue for high level strikes. And don't even get me started on the Nightfall... In fact, even with over 700 hours logged, the [i]only[/i] Exotics I would own if not for Xür would be: Universal Remote Hardlight Red Death That's it. [i]No[/i] other weapons. [i]No[/i] armour.
