I have 125 motes and I've been saving for him to sell the chest engram so I can try for Praxic Fire, because Xur hates warlocks and doesn't sell their good exotics. Although it's probably more annoying he has only sold the chest engram once for some weird ridiculous reason.
I have over 200 strange coins and every exotic except the Gjallahorn, there is literally no use in Xur for me and I imagine most hardcore/ seasoned players. Not to mention I have about 100 heavy synthesis and about 15 of every weapon telemetry.
Xur is there for the benefit of new players and bad players that play a lot. End of discussion.

I'm in the same boat as you mate, there would have to have some thing that costs about 100strage coins or something along those lines. Would take a while to earn that amount.

I completely agree. Because so many players (aside from new ones) have many strange coins they become worthless. Xur should sell gear or weapons that require more coins, for instance what would be wrong in selling light 36+ agent of the 9 gear for 95 coins each? Or the gjallahorn for 125 coins? Or some cool shaders and emblems for 15 coins? So much Bungie could be doing with him, but they've done so little. Xur needs to become relevant again for seasoned players.
