With the next dlc we should get new strike modifiers. Post your ideas below and I will add my favorites to this list!
[b]Hyper[/b]: Minions move 75% faster.
[b]Shadow/Hide & Seek[/b]: Minions are invisible. (or go invisible when not attacking)
[b]Templar's Protection[/b]: Oracles randomly spawn in proximity to players.
[b]Crota's gaze[/b]: Weight of darkness slowly stacks on players. Getting a kill removes all stacks.
[b]X Ageis[/b]: All minions have X type shields.
[b]Restricted X[/b]: Weapon type or abilty X does no damage. (melee/super/grenade/hand cannon/etc)
[b]Quantum Nth[/b]: A random bullet in every mag does no damage.
[b]Flashlight[/b]: All areas are dark enough for dinklebots flashlight.
[b]Blind[/b]: No HUD or enemy health bars. All UI gone.
[b]Rage Timer[/b]: Every few minutes minions enrage to do crazy damage and move fast for about 20 seconds.
[b]Grenade Happy/Catch[/b]: Minions that throw grenades throw TONS of them all the time.
[b]Juggernaut[/b]: Minions White/yellow health bars constantly slowly re-charge.
[b]Atheons time[/b]: Team randomly teleports and/or swaps places within the room at set intervals
[b]Witch Hunt[/b]: Random minions will be marked. Leaving a marked minion alive too long will wipe the team.
[b]Eye of the Beholder[/b]: Minions do more damage the farther away from you they are.
[b]VCR[/b]: Game speeds up and slows down randomly throughout strike.
[b]Curse of time/Jigsaw[/b]: The strike must be completed in X minutes.
[b]X Invasion[/b]: Enemy type X drop ships into the strike every few minutes.
[b]Horde[/b]: Weaker minions (like dregs and thralls) spawn in large numbers every few minutes.
[b]Trail of Fire[/b]: Friendly fire enabled.
[b]Deaf[/b]: Minions of the darkness make no sound whatsoever.
[b]A Dark Burden[/b]: No boost jumping.
[b]Zero G[/b]:Gravity effect is lowered. Grenades float longer, jumps last longer, etc
[b]Molasses[/b]: Players can't sprint.
[b]Broken legs[/b]: No running or walking, you have to crawl the whole thing. Fall damage is tripled.

Keep this up top! Excellent ideas, some of these would be pure hell in a strike. The chaos would be awesome!! Zero G: Gravity effect is lowered. Grenades float longer, jumps last longer, etc

Isn't Flashlight the modifier that increases enemy melee attacks to near 1 hit kills?

How about a time trail where you have x amount of minutes to finish a map or you wipe

Maybe something called flash light, where everything is dark and you have to do everything by dinklebots flashlight?

These are some really good ideas. Basically all of them would make the game more challenging. The question is how bungie can realize those.

I can't think of a name for it but here is an idea. Projectiles become more powerful the longer the distance they have to travel to hit their target.

Im surprised nobody has said anything regarding the Radar or UI. A hardcore mode/modifier without the UI(Health Bar, Ammo, ect) would be a little challenging.

Grenade Happy: All enemies can throw grenades and will throw them much more often. Random Burn: Random element burn that changes every two or three minutes, causing you to have to constantly switch weapons. Deaf: In game sound and voice chat completely disabled. Blind: No radar display. Regeneration: All damaged enemies will constantly regenerate health as if regenerating a shield. Anti-Super: Disables all super moves. Suicide Bomber: Killing any enemy with a melee attack causes them to explode and damage you. Gravity: Increases gravity by 50%, decreasing your jump height and movement speed. Slow Reload: All weapons reload twice as slow as normal. Mega Burn: Five minute timer, at the end of the timer any shots from enemies are one hit kills for the next twenty seconds.

I would like playlist to get random dmg modifier like nightfall the arc solar or void burn. Would make more use of weapons we don't use often. Personally I only use Atheon epilogue on nightfall with void burn.

The hunt: there will be a random spawning Minion that contains a chest. Kill it to get its loot. Has a chance to drop exotic gear

And get rid of light switch. That's used way too often
