I can't think of a name for it but here is an idea. Projectiles become more powerful the longer the distance they have to travel to hit their target.

Eye of the Beholder: Guardians do less damage the closer they are to their targets.

That's a good name. My idea for this was to make enemy snipers extremely dangerous.
