Faction Shaders!
I'm sure I'm not the only one completely frustrated by how the faction shaders have been implemented. Working and grinding for hours a day to reach rank 10, 20, or even 30 and not receive one single shader is absolutely ridiculous. Being rank 20 Dead Orbit myself, as well as 15 New Monarchy (started late) and never receiving one single shader is extremely frustrating, especially when I see someone who's rank 5 or 7 with one. In my opinion they should be purchasable according to rank, but as long as I'm rewarded for my hard work I'd be content.

Would be nice if u could just buy them after certain ranks being achieved same as Eris.

1 ReplyFaction shaders and ships are the only real rare items in the game. If you overplay the game like I do, it's something to work towards. And honestly I want reasons to keep overplaying because I enjoy Destiny very much.

1 ReplyGot my first FWC shader at level 23 and Dead Orbit at 17. Yeah, it sucks that they are RNG but when you do get them it's so worth it and also this actually does keep them rare in Destiny as it makes them unusually hard to get even worse than armor and weapons.

1 ReplyThis game is pretty short on defined goals and long on hoping to get lucky. Patching the vendors to sell shaders/ships at certain ranks like Eris would go a long ways towards remedying that.

2 RepliesI'm rank 15 with Dead orbit, and so far I've gotten 2 Bittersteel shaders my first at lvl 7 the second at lvl 9, The Hanged Man at lvl 11, and Revnant 15. I stopped going for The Nowhere because I heard it was identical to Chatterwhite on titans. Now I'm doing New Monarchy, I'm lvl 8 now I think...lol and so far all I've been getting is...admittedly really good guns from them

4 RepliesI'm rank 41 or so with DO on my warlock and rank 13 or so on my hunter. Lost count. But in that time I've gotten 3 bittersteels, last week I got the ship and yesterday I finally got a new shader, The Nowhere. Pretty cool, but my grind continues until I get Revenant. I find it helps when you aren't keeping track of the rank, or if you let a couple of rewards stack up instead of opening every one right away. Just tactics to help it feel less grindy.

Seems to be random drops 😔 I actually got my New Monarchy Shader Amalthea when I reached 7 or 8. It looks much better than God of War. Its on my Hunter if anyone wants to take a look. Hopefully I get this lucky with FWC and dead orbit 👍

1 ReplyYa I'm rank 22 and 16 still no shader from dead orbit it's incredibly screwed up I wish you could just buy some of them for the xp boost when turning in bountys. I'm begging to loose hope of ever getting one.

5 RepliesI got bittersteel at 14 it's not that great honestly Ill be much happier when I get hanged man and revenant the most frustrating thing is that it's all rng I feel like I'll be grinding forever it's not fun knowing you might not actually ever get them due to rng but the more annoying thing is seeing a level 6 with revenant
