Shows how much you know about the marines and military. 80% of jobs in the whole military are non combat jobs. It's not dangerous if you're not in combat and besides, Chicago has more murders each year than service men that were killed in Afghanistan. Being in the marines is an honorable job that teaches discipline and turn boys into men. If you want to go nowhere in life then sure be a car salesmen, but have fun getting nowhere in life.

don't have to be in the marines to go somewhere in life.... if you value being away from your family then go for it. military would be my last decision. you can claim it's a nobel profession all you want i just don't buy it....
