Well I don't know about you but I am a level 31 hunter with fully maxed out blade dancer. I've gotten passed the thrall abyss a couple of times by myself and truly, it really isn't hard. Just equip all of the invisibly perks *especially shadow jack* and run and crouch by every lamp. At the end I usually go and step on the platform quickly but then go run to the rocks nearby and crouch while scoping patience and time to assist in staying invisible. From there just walk ( while invisible ) from one side of the platform to the other every now and then just to make sure it stays activated. You should be good from there on out :) food luck
