How do you pass all the Thrall in the first part of 'Crota's End'?
I've never gotten past the first part of the Crota Raid with all the thrall around even with a fireteam. i've tried experimenting on my own to see if theres any other way to run down the path safely but nothing seems to work. Can any fellow Guardian help me resolve this?

Tight group stick together up your agility and use heavy machine guns vex mytho ect its the funnest part of the raid Also you only need to reduce your darkness to about 3 or 4 if your ina pickle

2 legit ways I've done it are. 1) Have 5 stay back and hunter in is the whole way while 5 walk behind. 2) tight group. Run and gun together, lookout for your team.

With our team we just run through the first two lamps and at the third lamp we turn around and kill as much as possible and continue running. At each lamp we turn and shoot the enemies as they accumulate. At the end I pop a bubble with saint 14 and we have 2 people shoot left, middle, and right until the bridge is done. You could also use the second lamp and jump ahead.

What I did today was I went first as a hunter on the second lamp I got on the rock that when the lantern explodes makes you fly across the map. After that i used my bladedancer abilities to get to the final part I got on it long anof to activate the bridge. I died but the rest of my team could just run to the very end and only have to face hive at the bridge.

For a fire team of 6 have [b]5[/b] people go do all the lanterns etc but have 1 person stay back so once those people are on the second level have the 1 person go revive everyone and then you'll have a full team or a second chance if the 5 fail

It's ez mode with defender titans and blade dancers. Mother of orb spawns.

You must stay very tightly together and when you get to a lamp turn around and shoot then move to the next one. Staying together is key. Then we use blind defender bubbles at the end

Stay together. Don't activate lamps until everyone is ready. Get to the lamp. Spam aoe grenades at the mobs and kill a to of them. Run to the next one. Repeat. Simple as that.

Camp on second lamp which will explode and throw you to 11. From there it's easy. Do this solo

Run past them, turn around when you get to a lantern and everyone pick a few off til you get down to 2 or 3 stacks of the Weight, then run to the next one. Don't focus on killing them til they're gone, they don't stop spawning. Just pick the closest ones off so they aren't wrecking you. Speed is key Edit: oh and if someone dies and they aren't right by a fresh lamp that you just got to, leave them. If you go back for a revive you both are sure to die, and you'll never catch back up to a lantern to drop your stacks, so it's just a slow crawl all the way through

Most of us have these objects that fire projectiles called "guns". You might want to bring some and fire them at the thralls.

2 RepliesWell the way my group does it is we run like shit fire crazy. Then we get straggled out and forget to tell people when they leave when shooting thrall so usually its me and someone else running backwards firing like idiots to kill the incoming thrall and then falling in black holes to ultimately restart a few times cause we joke around too much then we get serious and just nuke the entire raid. I dont really know how all i know is buttons are pressed, hive die and i wind up with radiant shards/energy cause RNGesus hates me.

1 ReplyI soloed it with a Hunter easiest class to do it with Put blade dancer and the all the invisibility perks When you run to each lamp you going to either knife or crouch to invisibility and crouch>knife If you can't crouch invisible and have to use the knife, jump on top of the lamp and to go invisible. Make sure your darkness always stays low and have the right equipment to make sure you can use the knife skill a lot can't remember the name Theirs probably and easier way to do but that's how I did pretty easily

6 RepliesEdited by unif1end: 12/29/2014 6:10:45 PMEquip the No Land Beyond you got from Xur. The thralls will let you pass out of pity for bringing such a disgrace of an exotic. There are a few who will ignore your plight and start attacking, but you can keep them at bay by poking at them with the gun's muzzle, taking advantage of its length. EDIT : Alternatively, you can use the gun as a pole and vault all the way to the end of the raid. Crota will keel over laughing and his shield will instantly fall. No need for all that DPS swordbearer bull. You can then bludgeon him at your leisure. Bungie should nerf the gun's length its too OP. [spoiler]JK i actually like this gun[/spoiler]

Run like hell. Lots of grenades. A fast gun or one that makes enemies explode on head shots.
