Perk is "Headshot kills will cause a cursed thrall explosion" can you imagine that in PVE?

Dude the perk is on the gun. If you get head shots with the gun you cause a cursed thrall explosion.

The only reason I ask is I'm seeing ppl like " I ground out 100 sword bearer kills before it dropped " and is it really worth all that effort if you already have say suros and/or vex

It's need for the necrochasm exotic chain. Precision kills cause the target to explode like cursed thrall. That's potentially an insane amount of damage in pve when shooting mobs

I can make 8-10 thrall explode into flame with my vex , think I'll give the endless rng farming of blades of crota a miss thankyou :)

The flame effect when you kill something with the vex doesn't affect enemies around it.. This explosion will deal damage to enemies surrounding it. And nothing says it has to be a farm, I found mine during patrol

I know was joking I get the whole blast damage thing ! And I would kill blades if I see em but wouldn't spend hours and hours farming em like a lot of ppl seem to be doing :)

How would you know this? Nobody has it yet. And from the stats, it is a high RoF, low Impact gun. Which are for the most part terrible. I think it will end up just being a trophy in the vault instead of actually being used by many people.

The only thing that stands for it is that thrall explosion, and have you seen that blast radius? If it lives up to that, it can easily go past the other two

Agreed. That perk does look cool. But A) it is a "chance" to cause thrall explosion, who knows how high of a chance, and B) how often do you get precision kills with, for example, Atheon's Epilogue? High RoF guns don't get as many precision kills as others. I'm not saying it won't be good, I just think crowning it the best gun, or even one of the best, is premature.

Majority of my atheons epilogue kills are head shots...actually majority of all of my primary weapon kills are headshots (80%)
