No. I use a helmet for my exotic slot. I won't get any other exotic until I get a raid helm. Personal choice.

How much light is it to be 31? Can't u use raid helmet from vault and one 36 light exotic with the rest 33 light?

Edited by Soreki: 12/14/2014 3:15:17 PMWith an exotic helmet I get 36 light. This means I only need gloves and boots from the vanguard (or other vendors/quests) to hit 31. I can keep using the last raid chest and save my commendations. With a helm at 36 light and a chest at 30 they average out to be 33, so all my gear is basically 33 light. Plus this also means that I can hit 32 just from the normal mode of CE.
