They are honestly better than the armanentarium. With the special perk about 8/10 enemies drop heavy ammo. That makes titans almost like gods. Plus they look sexy as hell and the armamentarium doesnt

I LOVE the Wings and have the same luck as you do with the ammo drops. I replaced Armentarium with them, and they are a placeholder til I get Saint-14 2.0 or Glasshouse on my Defender class.

See I've not found that at all. I killed 50 enemies on the moon (I had the kill 100 enemies bounty on so I know the number) and only one dropped heavy ammo. So far they seem less effective than the 'Expect to find ammo for this weapon' perk I have on The Swarm. I really wanted to like these, they look awesome, and on paper they sound incredible, but underwhelmed so far.

To the point where the perk is active yes.

The ammo comes in spurts but majors,imho with running with these twice on crota's end, have a higher chance of dropping. If you want to save from using ten ammo packs a raid these are the answer. I'm loving them
