Personally I think Armamentarium is one of the more ugly exotics, which made it worse when i pulled it from 3 different engrams before the DLC.

Visually, I agree. But in terms of what it offers I like it. An extra grenade is always useful, as is a higher chance of heavy and special ammo dropping.

Oh I agree. This is why i just wish we had the option to transmog in this game. I would definetly love to move some exotic perks to some legendary gear just for the looks. Or turn an exotic into a legendary just for the looks also.
