Some time back I had a similar problem with another game being booted from the server or disconnected. Not saying it is the same problem. I just don't know without being inside the organization.
XBox360 and possibly other consoles. Some producers of games make numerous updates without clearing cache afterward. This ties up memory needed to run.
When you see the "Press A to play" message at the beginning of play, press both bumpers and rapidly hit "Y" button 3 times. On most games this clears the cache and the game immediately looks for updates. I was kicked with "baboon" a couple times tonight and after doing this the problem has not returned.

Do you have any instructions for doing this trick on a PS4? I've never played xbox so don't know what a y button is.
-
Y button is triangle for you

Cheers for that, when he refers to bumpers does he mean R/L buttons? & would it mean R/L 1 or 2?
-
Bumpers would be R1 L1

Muchly appreciated I'll give it a go tonight. Seriously hope it works cause at the moment the games unplayable.

I tried this method. I think it may have helped but not sure. I won't have connection issues for a week then suddenly I get KTO time and time again for about an hour then it will go back to normal.

I got 3 days of normal play then it hit Friday & everything went down the toilet. I put it down to bad weather that night but last night was just as bad. Did a bit of forum browsing & discovered its a fairly widespread issue at the moment. Are you on Xbox or PS4? If you're on PS4 look me up if you need a hand with something like a raid or nightfall. My player tag is deathwalker007. Cheers for your help.

I'm on Xbox one, we all have the same issues though =/

Sorry that was uncalled for I just mean that sadly it is not a cache problem and that does not help. Luckily I can still play just not in the Cosmodrome! Nuts.

Cb take a xanax or something before you start lashing out at other players. We understand what you're going through you are not the only one. No reason to cut down others for trying to help.

Which part of my answer is B.S.? Is it the part about the cache using memory or it not being cleared after installing updates? Maybe it is the part that I did this tonight and returned to play several hours of Destiny without interruption? Could it be that you doubt the problem was also in another game in the past? You must have some reason for calling the answer B.S. I never B.S. when it comes to electronics since I am retired after 35 years as an electronics technician. " LITERALLY EVERY time I move between areas." Is this also B.S.? It looks like you have used all of the allotted memory for moving from one area to the next. Never mind. You figure it out. My answer was never meant to be a sure cure for the problem. It was just put out there so anyone reading your thread might try it. It worked for me, but I guess some are not really looking for a solution to try.
