[b]I was kicked to orbit and out of the game altogether countless times last night. [/b]It was usually one of these three errors, but sometimes others e.g. groundhog. I stopped counting at 60 errors. I spent more time trying to get into the game than playing it.
[b]This is certainly a problem at Bungie's end.[/b] I spent three hours verifying that the problem only occurred in the Cosmodrome on Patrol mode only, and usually but not always when travelling/loading between areas. The problem did not occur on any other planet or on any other mission -- I tried plenty to verify this. Other games worked fine. Streaming video worked fine. This is absolutely Bungie's problem.
Attempting to move between the patrol spawn area and Mothyard/Skywatch kicked me out of the game literally every time, without fail. It was literally impossible for me to do the new Cosmodrome quests for Erin. The only way I was able to do it was to have a friend go to the place I needed to be and then invite me in so I didn't have to move between areas.
Also, the game almost always disconnects me at the death screen during raids, with errors like Pineapple, Newt, etc. I play a lot of games with a lot of people. This is a Destiny problem.
[b]I do not even need to be online! I am happy to do most of this game solo. [/b]There is no excuse for the game to be so dependent on being online, if Bungie cannot solve these problems.
UPDATE: Three days layer and the Cosmdrome is STILL kicking me from the game with Caterpillar, Elk, etc, LITERALLY EVERY time I move between areas.

5 RepliesI just want to add in I am also getting the [b]baboon [/b]error code on this game. I'm an IT professional of 10 years, I work on massive networking projects and know my way around home networks inside and out. I have done literally EVERYTHING in my power to fix this ridiculous problem, nothing short of buying new equipment and spending several hours configuring and testing network setups through PSN and my PC. I'm very disappointed. My first free night in weeks from work, and I spent nearly 30 minutes dinking around with my stupid connection. I feel like I wasted $35 bucks on the expansion pass, I can't even play it. Bungie, you guys better fix this, it is on [u]YOUR[/u] end. If this game wasn't short enough as it is, this whole DLC feels like a gimmick, but now you can't even fix your servers to let people play on it? There is nothing wrong with the majority of gamers connections. PC games like Battlefield 4 work fine even on wireless connections. This game has a serious connectivity issue and it's Bungies responsibility to fix it. Let me say, I know some very powerful people, and I am not the kind of person to put up with this. I would gladly make the resources available to open a class action suit against Bungie Inc. and the Sony Corporation for this networking garbage. This is taking advantage of good people who just want to play games and enjoy your products, and most people even with the slightest bit of networking knowledge can run diagnostics and show it's problems on the ends of your servers.

My internet can choose whether to have problems whenever it feels like it? I have the best comcast internet, the same as other people who [b]can[/b] play, but for some reason I can't.

same is happening to me.. i keep geting bee errors on heroic missions and roc strikes.. before the dlc.. nothing now its impossible to play.. i tryed every fix with portfowarding and all that nonsense and still nothing. and the worst part is that there is no feed back from bungie. and if there is its the same generic message they always sent out.. this is unacceptable..

According to bungies site, baboon is if you are running off a mobile network or hotspot. I am doing neither and I continually get booted. Mainly right before the end of missions and quests

4 RepliesMy connection is wired and runs at nearly 40download and 17 upload and I constantly keep getting the elk and baboon codes with currant every now and again. Tried setting it up like they've said and the problem is not at my end. My internet is fine. Never had an issue before they started doing all the updates and now the DLC is out its getting so I can't even complete a mission. I love the game but it's really starting to frustrate me.

Groundhog, Caterpillar, Weasel, Nightingale, Coconut Etc.... The games basically unplayable for me now. I'm in the UK, on PS4... Please fix this [u]ASAP[/u] Bungie. PS i have a stable 20MB down 6MB UP connection, everything else works fine apart from destiny. I should mention before the DLC hit. I very rarely if ever got any errors, now it's just mad.

7 RepliesI certainly understand why everybody is pissed, I've been sitting at my house looking like Noah's Ark getting error messages 2 by 2 of every animal known to man; weasel, baboon, cloudberry, currant, anteater, ant, just to name a few. But I'm sure Bungie is freaking out that they are having such a high volume of kto errors booting everybody. You've known from the start MMO's were not Bungie's forte, and small errors on the development side can cause major traffic issues on the player side. I think Bungie has done an amazing job in creating an MMO that I can play from a 4G cell connection and have never once experienced lag during gameplay whether it be in Crucible or in PvE settings. Let's just hope that Bungie gives us error-free playtime and a nice Christmas gift for the holidays. -MrGoorin

You can try this If your on X1 and have an external HDD put everything on it. Once you have done that power down your console the unplug router and modem. Wait 30 sec plug in modem first then router, once fully on, power your Console up and once it's on unplug your external HDD then go to settings and "restore factory default" it will Wipe your console clean of everything, once that's done and your console finishes plug in your external HDD and load up destiny from that and you will have to re download the update once finished downloading launch destiny it should connect verify content and you should be good to go, that's what I had to do and worked for me on x1 I'm sure play station is the same concept of steps. Not sure as I'm on X1

12 RepliesSome time back I had a similar problem with another game being booted from the server or disconnected. Not saying it is the same problem. I just don't know without being inside the organization. XBox360 and possibly other consoles. Some producers of games make numerous updates without clearing cache afterward. This ties up memory needed to run. When you see the "Press A to play" message at the beginning of play, press both bumpers and rapidly hit "Y" button 3 times. On most games this clears the cache and the game immediately looks for updates. I was kicked with "baboon" a couple times tonight and after doing this the problem has not returned.

1 ReplyI'm kicked from 12 player crucible all the time for bee and weasel (especially since last update). I'm kicked from raids for bee, fly, pineapple, weasel, and "you have left the fireteam". Tower: everything. And sometimes on 6 player crucible I get weasel. I've done everything on their error code help site: I've changed to wired connection, I've made an open NAT, I don't need to unblock ports because my firewall isn't blocking any destiny/Xbox live ports, and I've even forwarded Xbox live and destiny ports to see if that would help. No luck. Still get all these errors. My internet is great with no packet loss. All my other games work perfect, even when I'm watching YouTube on my phone and someone else in the house is on the computer. But with destiny, I'm lucky to do anything with all the other devices turned off. Please fix your servers, Bungie! How are we supposed to be legendary when were killed by wimpy zoo animals? This is crap! Note: I've noticed on the error code messages after I'm kicked that it says removed from the game world. It may sound innocent but if you interpret it better you may notice that it sounds like destiny servers dropped your connection, literally kicking you. I don't know this, but that is my guess based on the information provided. What do you think?

2 RepliesHas this had an official recognition from Bungie yet? Since DLC I've been plagued by disconnects, kicks to orbit or title screen, errors including caterpillar, currant, baboon, marionberry and more which are extremely frequent. Also, Destiny tells me that my NAT is Strict yet when I run system diagnostics on my Xbox One it comes up either Open or Moderate - but never Strict. I've tried posing a thread here which got quickly swamped, and PM'ing one of those BNG Help accounts, but no reply. Please help or at least acknowledge Bungie - the game is practically unplayable right now or me and others!

1 Replylol from my previous post on this thread, Bungie thought it would be funny to throw in new animals at me. i got 4 Kingfisher, 6 Elk and 3 Newt errors. as if my list of other animal errors weren't enough already, i bet the Bungie guy at the server department is having a laugh at our woes, not like the guy cares, he's getting paid just to look at our posts and say that he's "aware" of the problems we face.

I keep getting Elk, Baboon, and King Fisher, what is going on bungie? im on the xbox 360 i have never had this problem before the expansion. Is this a problem a lot of people are having? or we the select lucky few? In bungies update i didn't see this problem addressed....
