So we who spent the money should have to go with out for you. Since the beginning, Bungie has said they will continue to expand the universe and grow. If you decide not to be apart of that growth then oh well.

I've got the DLC, and I'd agree with you on this... except that they took away something that was already in game for those without DLC. For example... imagine you had to buy the DLC in order to get Xur or some such. It's kind of messed up.

Pretty sure you're forgetting we ALL spent money? Please explain why we deserve to have 2/3 of the endgame taken away for a week just for not continuing to blindly throw money into bungievisions pockets for one fifth of the original games content for half the price? Sorry for buying a full copy of a game and expecting it to last longer than 3 months?

To be honest I've never seen it flaunted this blatantly before, even the COD dlc's just created a new playlist which remained locked for the peasants. This is actively making the game smaller? Also by 'the rest of the game' do you mean the same shit I would be playing on nightfall and weekly just easier and with less reward?

I think it's cool they are letting you access the new gear and weapons. That way if you change your mind you are ready to go. Also it's only one week out of seven & I shouldn't be penalized because of others. Bungie is doing the right thing by rewarding those that continue to support them and it's only one week.

how is it the right thing. people who paid for extra content got that. but those of us who can't afford the dlc shouldn't lose out on what we already paid for.

It's not only a week out of seven. Since the weeklies are SUPPOSED to be random (except for this on which was plugged in for the launch) I suspect this will be a common occurrence. A simple solution would have been to make it so non DLC owners can still go on as they are and don't get the DLC strikes popping up in their game but we DLC players get what we have now. The only reasons for this solution not to be used are: Laziness or Greed.

Random, no. It has gone earth, moon, nexus, Mars, archon priest, back to earth. It has been the same rotation since the game came out.

its not fair actually. they should be doing what they did with Halo where as DLC owners just enter different playlists. removing things from players like myself who can't justify purchasing DLC for themselves at this time of year is outrageous. the weekly on hard is how i earn my strange coins. but i can't do that this week because bungie are playing favourites.

The game was sold as constantly progressing so if they didn't let us have that, that would have been another outright lie! I understand it's only one week so far but i was under the assumption I would be able to play end game content whenever I liked? Plus it's not like I'm asking you to be penalised or even receive anything less... Just... Don't take things away from the vanilla?

The only reference that Bungie made to end game content is the VOG. Nightfall is not considered end game.

Yep sure is end game. High level and the difficulty paired with the kick to orbit makes this END GAME material. The normal vog is level 26 while the nightfall is level.................. 28.....................................

But the hard raid is lvl 30. What's your point? I am simply pointing out that in several interviews the only thing Bungie ever referred to as endgame content is the raid
