Bungie wrote about the Dark Below:
See you in the Hellmouth. If we don’t, we’ll still see you in the Tower. No Guardians will be left behind. All will have new choices to make as they expand on their legend.
Well, I was left behind. I've successfully completed the Weekly Nightfall Strike for eight weeks in a row. But I cannot even try it this week because it is only available to players who bought the DLC.

12 RepliesWhy are people so adamant that they got "screwed" or that they are "being left behind" when they don't HAVE to give you access to content YOU DIDN'T BUY!!! You had a CHOICE to buy or to not... you chose not. If you walk into McDonald's and ask for a burger and they say "would you like a drink with that" and you say "no, I don't want to pay for extra stuff" then why in the HELL would you think that they should/would say "oh ok... I guess maybe we shouldn't make you pay for the drink even though the last 10 customers did willingly.... here ya go"?!?! This is what's wrong with the country now... too many people these days think that they are entitled to EVERYTHING and think they don't have to pay for something and should be given it for free when others willingly pay. Entitlement at it's best... pony up the $20 or enjoy the old content... up to you. The only person that screwed you was yourself by making a bad choice and expecting a multimillion dollar company to "feel sorry" for you and give you anything. The game is moving forward, with or without you, and the choice is yours as to which it will be.

The darkness consumed you...

Here we go again

2 RepliesLOL... OP, you have TWENTY DAYS of time between your two characters. You paid $60 for a game for more than 480 hours worth of entertainment....thats only 12 cents an hour. Cheapest form of entertainment there is. Buy the damn DLC. Clearly you enjoy the game enough to play for twenty days.

If you have never played a mmo then I understand what your saying. But never the less this is the build that Bungie had selected. MMO's are 15/ month or you get nothing and if you don't get expansions then you're left behind. Bungie made a shooter that is online. No monthly, but expansions are required to play strikes and participate in current nightfalls. You can get onboard and continue to enjoy the game or continue on your path of not participating. You may not like it, but it is your reality.

spend 20 bucks and join in tightwad

1 ReplyJust wait until nightfall and xur cycles between 5 dlcs and base game, you're going to cry
-
Buy the damn dlc you guys act like its another $60, if u enjoy something ul invest in it.
-
LOL...

I bought the DLC, and I think it fair to give the people who didn't a chance at a weekly and nightfall from the original game, It's not like the technology doesn't exist. However from a business standpoint, it makes sense to tilt those on the fence about buying it to push the purchase button so they can have it and increase profit. It's not personal, it's business. Their target democratic are the ones that will give them money. That being said, you aren't their target and will probably have less support.
-
Never said they would see you in Nightfall. Just the Tower.
-
I still cannot believe the people who persist in defending this game.
-
3 RepliesNo you were not left, you stayed. Bungie made available to you the new gear/weapons from the Vanguard, Crucible, and Factions that will take you to the new light level of 31, and they also said that once new content is released it will become part of the line-up. So some weeks you will not do the nightfall, some days you will not do the daily, and that is just the way it is. You have choices, you just do not have the one that you want.
-
2 RepliesTrontor. let me explain something... You just stumbled into a pond full of Destiny Piranhas that have no pity and will troll you because they hail Destiny as the greatest game of all time. Do yourself a favor and step our before you get trolled to bits.
-
1 ReplyThere was just a DLC, with new content(obviously). Don't you think the people that PAID(aka the people supporting the game) are going to get to enjoy the new strike as the first week's nightfall and heroic?

I sit where I always sit, marveling at the Hellmouth Wondering what in the world my friends have gotten into I feel a tingling sensation in my face and a sense of revelation in my head I remove the top part of my helmet with my HUD still on, I take the antitheogens I packed out and insert them into the needles I packed as well I place the needle under my chin behind my jaw and upwards, I inject the antitheogens and my sense of revelation is gone I sigh, and open up my roster to see what my friends were doing Of course, Crota's End gahh don't I love that raid... I close out my HUD and hear a fizzling sound behind me There she was, The Exo Stranger "You" I said harshly as if I had just swallowed coal dust "Nows not the time for me, I'm here for you"she replied amiably "Why would you care for someone who can't even get to the bottom of the Hellmouth?" I questioned "I don't even have time to explain-" I cut her off abruptly"thats a joke now I hope you know that" "Yes, I understand that" she said awkwardly After awhile of silence she finally stated"They said you wouldn't be left behind" she paced as she spoke"seems what they said wasn't entirely true" I nodded at her in agreement"Mentally, we aren't left behind-" she finished my sentence" Yet physically you are" Silence coursed through the air until I finally asked" could you watch over my buddies for me" she replied promptly with" I don't make too many promises but I feel this one is worth it" She fizzled away, and I was there alone Two tears fell down my cheeks and fell into the depths of the Hellmouth A tear struck his helmet, and shone the many bodies of his teammates Another tear hit his ghost The DNA from the tear was enough to revive him, he stood confused and revived the rest of his teammates Not long after, Crota's dying cries were heard for miles on end And then the Moon fell silent again...

This is a story I wrote, I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way

Imagine Destiny 2. What would happen? Is everyone magically going to be level 34? Do we need to buy the dlc again? The grind
-
I can't regret my choice for buying this cz it's awesome but I can't play with my friends anymore...stuck at lvl 29 and 26..
-
Start having no expectations about this game. What did you think would happen?
-
"No Guardians Left Behind", because they all got left behind....
-
1 ReplyI mean I payed more money than you did so I should get more than you, welcome to the world of video games where its always been like this
-
It's one -blam!-ing week, pull your head out of your anus and have some patience. It's fair to let the people who bought a strike to be able to play that strike for a week on a harder setting for better rewards.
-
2 RepliesCan you log into the game and play? Yes.
-
5 RepliesYou weren't left behind, you made an active choice not to buy the dlc/season pass, unfortunately you did not fore see it being the weekly or the nightfall. Sucks but happens. I would discourage coming here and complaining, but that would be me assuming you don't like the abuse and if you have been here before then you would know the whining will get you pretty torn up around here.
-
6 RepliesIt's almost like Bungie are doing their best to discourage people who haven't bought the DLC to stop playing Destiny. When you are at a high level, the ONLY things worth doing anymore are the VOG, Nightfall, and Heroic. So having no Nightfall this week basically removes a third of the content that I would actually play...
