What about the people who have just one exotic item but spent hours and hours grinding to gather enough strange coins just to purchase that one piece... And then spend hours and hours more grinding to upgrade it?! I'm in this boat...

I am the same, 2 characters, 1 piece of exotic armour each. Luckily neither of mines are fully upgraded yet so I get the chance to upgrade using the new system, but I can see how people are pissed. But surely the best idea is to just get the new exotic gear that will drop come Tuesday and upgrade that. Old exotic gear is still good so I am not overly bothered but then I am also one of those guys that doesn't feel the game owes me anything so I guess that's where the haves and have nots differ.

Personally I think resetting exotic armor is silly, however I can see the logic behind it to an extent. Although Bungie could've perhaps done it differently. Ultimately I'll just keep playing out of curiosity, I don't do PvP and yeah Ok the PvE is a grind and severely boring playing solo but hell, it'll occupy me until something better comes along.

3 characters is where it's at get a friend to carry you through the story takes 3 hours tops.... once you hit 20 switch your main guns over and you are golden you only need to get to 25 to go to the raid and a good team can 5 man it as you tag along I went as a 22 because I was bored once

Well maybe. I just want to level up my titan for now. Once he's at 30 I'll blast on with a hunter and finish my warlock

Honestly having 3 28s is more productive than having 1 30 ya it's cool having a 30 but so many more benefits of having 3 28s....yes I know first hand I have all 3 at 30.... with one 30 you can only do weekly activities 1 time with 3 28s that is 3 of each not to mention all the extra bounties and what not

Honestly - I can't be arsed creating a new character to do that dismal story again!! I may do one day, but at present I'm just grinding to level 30 with my 27 titan

yes one class at a time 3 nightfalls/heroic/dailys are better than one its ur game play how u want but the 3 player way is much faster

Ah I see what you mean now! Yeah I suppose you've got a point there. However I don't even have a hunter created and I [u]really[/u] don't want to start over again...
