Imo using shotgun is trash. I switched to Fr because it requires way more skills than running and sliding on the floor with a shotgun. But you know everyone has there opinions.

Yeah, One shot killing form a distance takes way more skill than closing distance to one shot kill.

Depends on whether your target is moving or not. FRs arent hitscan weapons, they are projectile guns, so if your target isnt enough of a mong to be stood still or rushing head on, you have to track and lead your target. I use all 3 specials. They are all easy as hell to use.

You need to track a moving target with any gun. If your target isn't enough of a mong not to run into your shot gun blast you need to cover the distance without dying to get your one shot. Fusions are cake to use just like Autos. It's why most everyone runs around with them.

You dont need to lead your shots on a strafing target at distance with other guns; you do with a fusion.

If you want to hit them you do. Otherwise they are going to strafe out of the way. That's why you strafe. You're more likely to hit a strafing target with a fusion than any other weapon. Sure some of the projectiles will miss, but it's better than a full miss from any other gun (except a shotgun at mid or close).

I dont think you are grasping the point here. In terms of game mechanics, fusion rifles are NOT easy to use at range against a savvy opponent. Look up the difference between hitscan and projectile weapons in regards to game mechanics. Leading a moving target is not easy, especially when they can change direction abruptly.

Oh I get it fine. You don't. FR are easy to use at any range but extreme. It's why everyone's running around with them. Just like AR. I'm sure you're one of them, which is why you're trying to justify otherwise. I know it's not easy leading, which is why people strife. You seem to think all I have to do is stand there and pull R2 and I'm going to automatically hit the guy in front of me with anything but a FR. You're full of shit.

Read what I said earlier: all 3 specials are equally easy to use, thus I make use of all 3 depending on what map crops up. Snipers for long range, shotties for CQC or a fusion for close-mid range. It would be nice if you could offer something more than insults and "OMG U MUST USE ONE ALL DA TYME!!1!" Also, its easier to hit a strafing target with a hitscan gun - you merely aim AT them whilst the gun shoots - bingo. With a projectile weapon you have to account for the distance and movement and aim in front of the target. That is undeniably more difficult, thats my point, the more distant OHKs are not easily scored, contrary to peoples whinging on here. Yes Fusions are powerful, but then so are shotties and snipers. And all are easily countered if people use the right tactics.

I've offered plenty on why you're wrong. You're never going to accepted it because you think you're right. I'm sorry, but you're not going to hit a moving target with any gun just by pointing in their direction. You have to lead with everything except rockets. You even need to lead with a shot gun if you want to hit with as many pellets as possible, especially with this games net code and collision detection. A FR doesn't need to lead to hit a target because it shoots multiple bullets in one press of a trigger. You can just do a spread and you're going to damage them. I do it all the time. Now if you want a one hit kill, yes you need to lead just like any other gun. Difference is, I need 3 shots to the head with my hand cannon where as I only need one hit to the body with my FR. On top of that, if I miss my lead, then I miss with my hand cannon (the bullet doesn't magically hit my target on a miss just because I'm pointing it in their direction). But with my FR I'm still going to hit them and do some damage. I can even fan out and hit multiple targets for good damage. It takes a lot less work for me to have a high K/D with a FR than it dose any other weapon except an AR. Snipers take much more skill to hit a moving target than a FR or Shotgun. Whatever, you can continue to think everything but a FR will magically hit the guy in front of you without aiming. lol
