The Titans are a brash class which believe brute force over all else is key to victory. Powerful in some situations, but this philosophy of battle is costly and useless in certain situations. They lack any strategic planning or finesse which is troublesome in situations where dying is not an option. While the warlock is a gliding mind of magic and fearsome firepower, and the hunter is an invisible fighting force of sheer will and skill, the Titan is the child that keeps falling while the rest of the family is fleeing from an evil warlord.
Yes they can be useful, and the smarter more crafty ones are beyond invaluable, but the vast majority are liabilities whilst raiding and while night is falling and death equates to be thrown back into space.

Edited by illqo : 10/22/2014 3:43:25 PMBrute force is itself an art, a titan is safest in the first moments of a shock attack, as the hunter ducks readying to fire and the warlock jumps prepared to throw his super a titan does not see the endless waves. He focuses on the first enemy, you slaughter him in an instant and use the break as his compatriots reel to kill another. As long as you are the stone in the river you will stand and they will break upon you. You have to stay right on the edge of the chaos, you cannot run for to run is to die. If you press into the fight the flow will wrap around you and you find yourself immortal. Your shield will be gone but that last sliver of armor will hold. It becomes punch, fire, fire, grenade, reload, punch in an endless dance. Then at the moment when the wave begins to pick you up, super either bubble or slam. When your shield returns during this pause you press again against the rush. Let the hunter pop the leaders, let the warlock shatter the clumps. Let them have the glory. Give me those moments of mindless brutal perfection where every round finds a foe and every strike finds a mark.

1) I play crucible for bounties only for the most part, or to play with friends when we have more that 3 on at a time. 2) you have double my time played but less than 10 offensive kills more than me for control. Not big on running into a zone to try to capture are we? Not really a team player? I ptfo for my team not to attain a high Kdr. 3) you're yet to play crucible at all as a hunter, which funny enough is your highest ranked character. [spoiler] if your not using your Titan abilities to capture zones you're not playing a Titan correctly[/spoiler] Which is weird since [spoiler] you have 2 of them [/spoiler]
