Thank you titans for being you
Out of a world of hunters I see very few titans but the few I do see, well it's pretty nice to see. Thanks for not being a hunter, to u titans out there lolol

12 RepliesBeing a Titan is a difficult and often thankless job. Our usefulness is sometimes limited whilst fighting other Guardians, and so our Order is often derided as foolish and without use by others. Our tendency to play as support on the battlefield against the forces of Darkness make us appear weaker amongst the rest. However, when you are downed on the field, it will not be the Warlock or the Hunter reviving you. I will descend from my overwatch, punching holes through those that stand in my way with rifle and fist. It will be my shield that will encircle the position where you fell, and it will be by my hands that you rise again to fight those which struck you down. When we are encircled by foes on all sides and it seems there is no escape, while the rest will cower and die, it will be my lightning will strike the ground and dispel the foes that oppress us so, removing the boulder from our chests that afforded us no room to breathe. Though our enemy crowds around us, we tread the blessed path. At a moment's notice we light the way, and our allies shall be saved. We may not share the glamour of our bretheren who might cut through to the heart of the enemy or the Sun praising Angels of the Light, but we stand firm in the face of adversity, and without hesitation, we deliver it a hearty fist. You are the bowmen. You are the catapaults. You are the dagger. You are the fury. But we are the sword. We are the shield. We are the force, and we are the might. We are unafraid to stand up and to fight for the return of the Light. You are welcome, Brother. We will continue our vigil and do as we do-- And we are thankful to know our work is appreciated by at least a few.

It still applies. I still see the infestation of Hunters in the Crucible. I'm seeing a bit more Titans now.

4 RepliesA Titan, a hunter and a warlock were on a ship. Suddenly the started to fall out of its low orbit. One of thier ghosts says; dump any dead weight and I can bring us up! The warlock says: I got to many of these green engrams. And throws them of. The hunter says: I got too many if these blue engrams. And throws them of. The Titan says: We got too many of these guys running around. And throws the hunter out of the ship.

I run around like a Battle Medic, smashing the Darkness that is foolish enough to mess with my fellow Guardians. Ward of Dawn is a life saver when reviving teammates in PvE and Skirmish. I will gladly go out of my way to keep any Guardian alive and in the fight. It's always amusing to drop Ward of Dawn on a control point to watch the enemy team stand on the sidelines thinking of what they should do. While I'm on the dance floor inside my bubble, some are brave/foolish enough to enter...they usually don't make it. If any Warlocks, Hunters, or even fellow Titans want to dramatically increase their armor rating...get behind me...I'll be your shield. PSN and XBL: humbleDemon66 If anybody wants a friendly to blast with feel free to add me. Any game, any mode. Also, I still haven't even tried VoG. When I play on my Titan, all I see are titans. When I play on my hunter, all I see are hunters. Wut

7 RepliesThe Titans are a brash class which believe brute force over all else is key to victory. Powerful in some situations, but this philosophy of battle is costly and useless in certain situations. They lack any strategic planning or finesse which is troublesome in situations where dying is not an option. While the warlock is a gliding mind of magic and fearsome firepower, and the hunter is an invisible fighting force of sheer will and skill, the Titan is the child that keeps falling while the rest of the family is fleeing from an evil warlord. Yes they can be useful, and the smarter more crafty ones are beyond invaluable, but the vast majority are liabilities whilst raiding and while night is falling and death equates to be thrown back into space.

In PvP I like trying to find other titans on the opposing team who have dropped their bubbles and drop my bubble right on top. Its like Ali and Foreman all over again.

103 RepliesEdited by ColdAtrophy: 10/11/2014 3:54:31 PMAs a Titan, I mostly feel like a Field Medic/Universal Soldier. Here are my responsibilities: 1) Kill adds as fast as possible. If every 3rd kill is not a melee, I bring dishonor to my order. If my Hunter and Warlock friends have had to stop shooting the boss to fight a measly dreg, shank, or goblin for more than a brief few seconds, I am shamed for all the world to see. 2) Deploy bubble and revive my squishy brethren. If they stay dead long enough to choose to respawn, I have failed in my duty. 3) If 1 & 2 have been accomplished already, resist the urge to punch the boss in the face. I occasionally get carried away with how easily I mow through the adds, get ballsy, and forget that the bosses can all OHK me. This one is tough. I usually switch to my HMG and instead get carried away with how awesome my gun looks and sounds while I am shooting. Then I remember how much fun it is to punch things in the face, which is convenient because by now the adds have respawned. 4) Go back to step one. EDIT: This post got far more likes and replies than I ever thought possible. I see titans all the time. They catch me off guard in crucible all the time cuase of the hunters being everywhere.

13 Replies[i]Taken from the Destiny sub-reddit linked above.[/i] TITAN: HOW IT WORKS. [b]Striker:[/b] You punch things. Sometimes you jump up in the air and use two hands to punch things. This works well and raises the question of why someone wouldn't always use two hands to punch things. Sometimes you punch things with your shoulder. Sometimes you punch things with your knee. Occasionally you punch things with bullets, but this punching is the least effective punching of all the punches. Punching things so much makes your fists dirty, so get a nice rag on your waist so you can punch the dirt off of your punches. [b]Defender:[/b] Instead of using two hands to punch things, you use a shield to make other things stop punching you. This is counter-intuitive because it doesn't allow you to punch as many things. You can still punch with bullets, and sometimes the shield makes it so you punch harder with bullets. Sometimes the shield makes a little shield so you can run around punching things and not getting punched as much. Sometimes when you punch things you get a shield that lets you punch more things. Dishrag is maintained.
