Because this is PvP. Not PvE. I've seen people in Beta take out those level ?? enemies with time and patience. You said you don't want to hear snide jokes you're not good so tell you what... I'll mock you for not paying attention to the battlefield and letting a level 6 surprise you from behind. A level advantage will not save you from being ambushed properly. Proper ambushes don't give you time to fire back and you can't kill what you don't shoot at. You're asking for a fair unfair advantage. The Crucible has no such mercy.
