A LVL 6 just killed me in Iron Banner......Good Job Bungie
So much for grinding for gear and stacking the best stuff.. I got grenade killed by a lvl 6 hunter.....im lvl 26.....A FULL 20 LEVELS ABOVE, please explain where it makes sense that he should even be able to damage me? Because in PVE, we couldnt touch the lvl 20 enemies, they had ?? and were immune to our puny bullets but somewhere this douche took me out with a lvl 6 weapon.
I dont want to hear snide jokes that im not good, I usually finish first or second place every round, this is just a failed system and really is no different than crucible...so what gives Bungie
EDIT: I occasionally finish first, most of the time I do fairly well, K/D aside.

1 ReplyBecause this is PvP. Not PvE. I've seen people in Beta take out those level ?? enemies with time and patience. You said you don't want to hear snide jokes you're not good so tell you what... I'll mock you for not paying attention to the battlefield and letting a level 6 surprise you from behind. A level advantage will not save you from being ambushed properly. Proper ambushes don't give you time to fire back and you can't kill what you don't shoot at. You're asking for a fair unfair advantage. The Crucible has no such mercy.

9 RepliesBecause grenades are one hit kills no matter what level you are as long as you aim it correctly. All I'm seeing is someone who's so bad he can't even beat a lvl 6.

This event was SUPPOSED to be unbalanced so that you could show off your gear in a PVP environment. Is it unfair for the low levels? YES! Should it be? YES! Should you be able to demolish the low level toons with exotic guns? YES! Am I the only one that thinks this way? APPARENTLY! Lol Anyway, I will still be playing in the Iron Banner due to my collective nature but I feel it isn't what I expected. :)

But I imagine lower lvl gets their floor stats pushed up to within a few lvls of you just like PvE. Would still have the lvl advantage, just not the same as a mob's lvl advantage. Lowest lvls I came across were 20's so far, was hoping to see some 1 shot kills... Still took 2 head shots like everyone else.

The iron banner bumps to 20, and you'll only feel a small difference at 29/30 (versus a 20).

if a level 6 killed you. He deserves it. Takes him alot longer to kill you than it does you to kill him

8 RepliesI was killed by a lvl 11 in 3 shot from a uncommon lvl 11 or lower heavy machine gun I'm lvl 29, yet I died in 3 shots just as if we were playing normal crucible.
