Just don't do PVP and stick to PVE-only content. That's what i'm doing and I'm never finding myself getting bored cause I have nothing to do.
Players who only do PVP must be saying the same thing to themselves: "Stop shoving PVE down my throat, please. I only do PVP and I don't want to have to do PVE content just to get gear through PVE related missions, strikes and raids."
Destiny is a huge game and Bungie managed to balance both PVE and PVP content quite well. IMHO, someone that tries to do all PVE and PVP content is just too damn hardcore, and those kind of players are rare. Most of us have a life. ^_-

Couldn't agree more. I enjoy both PvP and PvE. I have friends that prefer one over the other, so I have enough to do. It is just about preference of play. Sometimes you want to kill things, and sometimes you want to kill player-controlled things. It's all about how you want to play. It does suck for those exotic bounties that require PvP stuff, but some of the requirements that involve PvE in which I'm not a fan of. I just do it, because I want the end weapon. Yeah, it sucks, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.

... Uh... 4/5 Legendary Armor/Weapon salespeople sell armor only using Crucible Tokens. The Crucible weapons usually have better PvP mods than the Vanguard weapons. The Light bonuses are the same, even though without Iron Banner Light in PvP is pointless. Many Exotic Bounties require you to have a decent K/D in the Crucible, which thoroughly sucks for anyone like myself who is ass in PvP (I don't play FPS to run into rooms shooting other players; I play for story and stealth, and to see how I fair against bullet sponges). You can get Legendaries from just AFKing in PvP; you usually need to get Engrams to get Legendaries/Exotics from Strikes (which take longer if you aren't skilled enough, don't have a full fireteam, and/or don't have good equipment). It's pretty obvious that this game heavily favors PvP. The only time that this might come into question is when you take Iron Banner and Raid Gear into account. However, with all those Crucible points, you can probably hear up for Vault of Glass pretty easily anyway... I wouldn't be as annoyed if there was more of an incentive to do PvE. There is plenty of incentive to do PvP. This may change when more Raids come out... But that means they need to start coming out with those Raids. :p
