You know, you've spent 20 almost 21 hours in game. Most games with an excellent story (Last of Us for example) take a heck of a lot less time to complete. This is true even years ago - the original Resident Evil could be done in 3 hours. But you've spent 20 hours on this game. Me, I've spent probably around 100 if you add in whatever time it must have taken to level the 16 warlock and 20 titan I deleted (I'm an alt-o-holic... it's a condition ;)). There are few games in my 30+ years of gaming that I've invested that level of time into, short of an mmo or moba.
I think instead of trying to get the pitchforks out, perhaps ask yourself if you've enjoyed your time with Destiny. If you have, like me, then dlc and maybe even microtransactions aren't that much of an ask for a persistent game world to exist. If not, then walk away and chuckle to yourself that you got 20 hours out of a $60 game, because that sir, is a bargain.

Edited by TribalA13X 93: 9/26/2014 1:54:53 AMYou act like 20 hours is a huge amount. And in 20 hours, I've managed to experience the entire game practically. 5 years of hype for this? And I like this game. I didn't say the game sucked. It's just disappointing. It's disappointing that we're getting ripped off out of a complete game.

Edited by slayersamelia: 9/26/2014 8:31:51 AM20 hours is a huge time investment for a game - it has been since gaming began. Short of your Skyrim's, MMO's or MOBA's you'll rarely find a game with more than 8 hours to it - certainly less than 20. And that's including games considered to be some of the best ever made. To get 20 hours out of a $60 game is amazing. Me, I've put in probably around 110 hours all-in - which is what? 54cents an hour? (Worked it out in £'s too seeing as I'm from the UK and it works out a 36p an hour). Tell me again how Bungie/Activision are ripping me off? I'm sorry, but your entire OP is full of crap. You're making a ton of assumptions about Bungies motives and asking people to join you in your pointless war against dlc and that is just complete tosh. You really need to get your priorities straight mate rather than give yourself an ulcer over your ridiculous tinfoil hat crusade against a computer game. #firstworldproblems P.S. I don't consider one level 22 Titan to be experiencing the entire game. You've barely scratched the surface.

I like everything you have just said. The OP is trying to be an activist over something so trivial it's sad.

This is the point I've been making. Do you enjoy the game? Can you play it for hours non stop? If the answer to these questions is yes, what's the problem?

People just love too complain.
