Because it is not over until the Fat Lady sings. ;-) I followed up on some recent articles when I found out the first expansion is in December along with COD: AW and Dragon Age: Inquisition coming out in November for add'l games to play. The articles said the AI should be more challenging at high levels for Nightfall plus I decided to give the daily story and Nightfall missions plus weekly missions a go.
Put my pre-order in last week and I figure if I find it too boring by November and don't go for the expansion, I can get $30 for trade value and put toward COD:AW. I will get it for a discount so if I have it for two months, will cost me around $25 net for two months of gaming. I figure I can't lose either way with Destiny.

Fat chance of that happening. Time for you to grow up and realize that folks can own, play and discuss more than one game at a time. While we can make our best guesses as to whether we will like a game or not based on the information and demos/beta out there, sometimes you need to purchase to know for sure.

Lol that's exactly what I'm doing, expressing my opinion. Not my fault that you an so many others on this forum get offended by the fact I dislike COD. I dislike the way you talk about Destiny, don't see me running around the forums bashing any kid that talks down on it. Just find it weird, every person that plans to buy COD year after year, somehow always has to defend there purchase. Like you know deep down the game is garbage.

You did tell me to get out off the forum so I'd say you were bashing even though I said I decided to buy the game and see how it goes. Still not certain I won't find it boring but I want to find out. Maybe Bungie will surprise and there will be fun in the grind for loot. Maybe it won't. Cause for concern when they take 10 strike missions and just keep bumping up levels on them. So far, what they have shown, it still plays the same way. Need to see if they have some surprises at higher levels or if it will just be the same repetitive missions. Have to laugh at your assumption. Just because I mention COD you assume I'm a big fanboy. I haven't played COD for at least the last four years. I have been playing Battlefield. Last one unfortunately didn't work out for me so I haven't had a PvP shooter to play for six months now. I did my research on both Destiny and COD: AW and one, I prefer my pvp on Earth maps versus Space ones and two, having played Destiny pvp and watching several hours of gameplay on both as well as playing COD in the past, I decided to go with COD: AW. In the future, it might be The Division as everything is rolled into a single environment and the action all blends together. I could care less if you like COD or not. All I did was make the comment I was purchasing it. I also mentioned I was purchasing Dragon Age and if that was coming out before COD and I did decide to trade in Destiny, it would have gone for that game first. But COD comes out first so it got the extra mention. Hope you have lots of fun with Destiny. Hoping my concerns aren't founded and I enjoy it too.
