Raids, Don't Give In Bungie!

So I've been reading a whole lot of articles about why not having matchmaking for raids is a bad thing and I just can't agree, here's why. Bungie has stated they don't want this to be content people can just throw themselves at over and over again until some form of success slowly begins to occur (put that in my own words though, not Bungies). They want this to be content that takes effort to organize, if you can organize a team of people to play at the same time you gain a CHANCE at having the organization it'll take to beat this content. This content is not for every player, I'm sorry everyone feels entitled to ever bit of content that comes with a game but that's not how it works in reality, sorry. Yes you paid for the game, and they are giving you access to the content, the same level of access they are giving EVERYONE else. Whether or not you as a player have the time or patience to access that content the way they set it up is on you. If everyone where able to access this content whenever they want the next series of complaints you'd hear flooding from everywhere is likely how the content is too hard, and how can they expect a group of 6 strangers to work together at such a high level of play and beat this content. Also, Bungie has provided us tools to group together and find players for this content. If you plan to raid then you clearly have an internet connection, hell it's required for the game last I checked. So don't tell me you can't hop on the internet for a few minutes and post on the forums, join a group / clan or something to find the players you need to access this content. Don't be lazy and expect the world to be given to you, if Bungie adopted this lazy attitude of self entitlement they wouldn't be making the great games they do, and they'd be giving us trash like many other developers do, but they aren't. So you can't be either, and if you are, you don't deserve to access the content, it's not meant for you, no matter how that makes you feel on the inside, it's true, deal with it. That is all. Thanks for the great game Bungie, I really hope you don't back down to all the heat your getting about this. Just think how much heat the Demon's Souls / Dark Souls series got for being so hard and now it's a cult classic. You already have the fan base, the people complaining over this will still buy the game, and they aren't the people that'll be around months, years from now anyways, so don't make the game about them. Do what you knows best, I'm sure you will.

Finally someone who gets it. I think it's ironic that people are saying that everyone who wants raids to not have a match making feature are selfish. The game has something for everyone, raids are the only thing tailored to the hardcore crowd and people want to ruin the one thing we have by adding a match making system to it. The rest of the game is tailored to casual/competitive players, so who's being selfish here? For the people that still can't understand that concept it'd be the same as PvP players getting Bungie to make all explore and mission areas an open battlefield like DayZ because they feel they don't have enough maps to play on. I can understand that people want better in game communication and I feel like a proximity chat would be a good option, if someone is being annoying you mute them end of story, but to complain about it being too hard to put together a raiding team without one? Come on people, stop being so pathetically lazy. You have BNet and XBL/PSN at your disposal, two completely viable and easy to use systems. Too hard to find people who would want to raid? Strikes are basically the little brothers of raids, play a few missions, find solid players, and shoot them a message inquiring about whether or not they'd want to raid with you. Is that really so -blam!-ing hard or are you guys just that -blam!-ing lazy?
