I ask, why?
Most of those responses you claim to have looked at answer this question in those very same posts. Why are you asking what has already been answered?
And to think that bungie (the ones who brought us Halo) are going to let us down when the full title releases is ignorant to say the least
No, letting rose tinted limited edition fanboy goggles cloud your judgement is showing signs of being ignorant. I doubt the game will be bad, but many people will be let down if we only have one map per planet because they were expecting more due to Old Russia's small size. It's that simple.

I wonder how long it took you to think that one up...

I love people complaining about size of the game or areas when they have hardly put any time in. This is a Beta, this isn't the whole game. And if you missed the moon missions then you have no room to talk, and have no idea what you are talking about, because the hollow moon is awesome, and big.
-
Totally agree but hey they miss out plain and simple
-
Exactly, couldn't have said it any better myself.

This. With you 100% I love Bungie for all parts of a game, but with Halo and Destiny it was them furnishing whole universes rich in history. More and more gamers settle for instant gratification through mediocre means, I don't really believe people attempt to take a game like this as the sum of it's parts, rather they pick away at singular aspects. Personally, I feel like people allowed their expectations to get raised to a level that can't be met by ANY company. Also, to the people criticizing OP, it's common knowledge if one seeks to look, that a subpoena of Activision contracts revealed that Bungie has four titles coming out in the years to come (obviously since 2012 some details have changed). What it boils down to is that this game is going to be incredible, independent of fanboy status or not. The caveat is that people develop these grandiose ideas and expectations of what they WANT versus reality. And those people are in the minority. As a generalization, people who are content don't usually bitch.

Oh look, more people on the destiny forum that misinterpret the point of a post almost in its entirety, what a shocker. /s
-
Haha that made me laugh. Your point is unmistakably clear. In the context of people getting their expectations too high, it is quite possible that that was partly why Bungie released the beta -to kill the hype, going back to practically the largest driving point of my post. If you think I misinterpreted your point, you probably just didn't understand mine.

Disregard the last post, I got home and am off mobile. Two things. I wasn't responding to you initially, but instead to Voignur. If you're on desktop this is easier to see. Secondly, I still disagree that either of you actually held any relevant reply to my post. Now, you can feel free to tell me how you interpreted my post so we can get rid of that confusion, or we can just leave it here. I'm fine with both, I don't have work until around 3 or 4 tomorrow so we can hold discussions all night so long as you're patient for my replies since I'll be off playing Destiny, or other games.
-
I'm On mobile, did I respond to you or the voig guy? I haven't even read your post yet.
-
well...most of old russia is locked off by doors and level 20 enemies.
-
and for the level 20 enemies i been past most of them nothing worth mentioning. just empty caves
-
damn..i hope the other maps aren't as small.
-
same because i like the game from what i played and i don't think it's going to suck just really really disappointing.
-
And you can find videos of people glitching into those areas. They aren't huge. Even then, you just compare other pieces of the map to the locked off areas. Combined, they are still not that large.
-
Compared to what?

...... u srs?
Even then, you just compare other pieces of the map to the locked off areas.
No limited edition fanboy goggles, but I do have a nice pair of hater-blockers.
-
Wow, what a convincing post. Strikes me as odd that you people just resort to comments like this whenever someone explains why the game will have some sort of negative aspect or response from a crowd. No wait, it doesn't. Fanboy goggles are still a thing even though you stated you didn't have 'em. I almost trusted you there for a second.
-
Haha, chill out man.

There it is again.
