It doesn't really annoy me. I think it's just a standard set by the community. To be honest, I'm glad the community is that blind. When the day comes and we forge our guardians into the beautiful world of Destiny, those who relate it directly to Halo will be in for a treat. A nice surprise if you will. I'm honestly envious. I wish I could put Destiny on Halo's caliber. That would lower my expectations and make it that much more impressive to play. But, I know Bungie. I know this community. I've been around here for 7 years. This will be beyond what people can imagine. It will be the first, true, next generation experience. And, though my expectations are incredibly high; I know they will be met if not exceeded.
