Why is it that as a society we're completely fine with violence, but as soon there's sex involved, we completely lose our collective shit?

Exactly... While working at a video rental store, I was asked by a mother, (son at her side,) if it was alright for her son to watch a specific movie. My response was "Well, there's a lot of gunplay in it." She replied "Oh, that's okay, I was just wondering if there is any..." And, in that moment when she's floating her hand up and down in front of her body, I say "There's boobies in it." I didn't say "nudity" because she couldn't say "nudity" in front of her son. And, I didn't say "breasts" for the same reason. I used the childish term, because that's where the conversation went. And, I wanted the son to know why he was not going to see this film.

Agreed. "Imaginary violence" is okay but, imaginary humping the corpse of your enemy, (or imaginary crouching, for that matter,) is right out.
