Why is it that as a society we're completely fine with violence, but as soon there's sex involved, we completely lose our collective shit?

  • Exactly... While working at a video rental store, I was asked by a mother, (son at her side,) if it was alright for her son to watch a specific movie. My response was "Well, there's a lot of gunplay in it." She replied "Oh, that's okay, I was just wondering if there is any..." And, in that moment when she's floating her hand up and down in front of her body, I say "There's boobies in it." I didn't say "nudity" because she couldn't say "nudity" in front of her son. And, I didn't say "breasts" for the same reason. I used the childish term, because that's where the conversation went. And, I wanted the son to know why he was not going to see this film.

  • What kind of mother r u to let your child play games that aren't age appropriate. That's the real question ain't it?

  • Agreed. "Imaginary violence" is okay but, imaginary humping the corpse of your enemy, (or imaginary crouching, for that matter,) is right out.
