Who cares? Why does Ogre 2's opinion carry any more weight than the rest of us? Did he somehow pay more for the game than I did?
Hmm no he probably got his free.
How about the fact that he practices games for hours a day and is in the #1 ranked clan in the world and has a very good understanding of Halo? His opinion carries more weight than yours because he has infinitely more experience with the game than you. Still, it is just his opinion, but a highly educated one.

QFT. Why wouldn't a person more skilled and knowledgeable in a FPS (or subjects in general) have more weight on his opinion? You wouldn't tell a Math professor it's only "your opinion" when it comes to subjects of Math.
Why would his opinion matter more? Math is fact, it is what it is. What he thinks of the game is nothing like your example. Next time you submit a post, read it first, then maybe hit cancel, instead of submit. No ones opinion is more important then anyone elses, its a simple fact.
See, that's the thing. If the hitboxes are screwy, then they are, objectively, as a matter of fact, screwy--opinion is only arguing over whether or not they are misprogrammed somehow. And I trust Ogre2's perceptions as to whether or not this may be the case more than my own, yes. Because he has a vested interest in determining what is reliable in the game, and the skill to know where his abilities carry him regarding that reliability. I've never once thought 'hey! I sniped that guy in the face! why don't he die?' without immediately thinking 'well, I must've missed by a hair.' or 'lag' or well just forgotten about it. But someone like Ogre2, who really has a firm feel for the precision of what he does, is more likely to notice something off. I'm not saying the guy is the most perceptive, or the best, or worshipping, or bandwagonning etc., I'm just saying that when I read that interview, it seemed to me that his opinion, based on his experience and history, was more likely to be pointing to some issue with the game which exceeded mere subjectivity, and which Bungie would be likely to have to address at some point.
In short: the argument that everyone's opinion is equal doesn't hold water for me here because a player as sensitive to discrepancy as Ogre2 is more likely to perceive an actual discrepancy as opposed to an imagined one. This is in contrast with the discussion regarding the melee system, which is a discussion of gameplay and therefore almost exclusively a matter of opinion.
He even said he hasn't played much of halo 3 yet. Its not the same as halo 2, understand that first...he's been playing halo 2 for so long that he expects things to work the same as they did, which they don't. He gots used to the older game, so hes not accustomed(sp) to this one yet. I don't think his opinion is any more important, like I said before, he's in it for one thing only, to make money, so he wants it set up the way he'll play best with. I'm a casual player, I think everything works just fine.
WE'RE NOT ARGUING IF HIS OPINION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYONE ELSE'S. HOLY FREAKING CRAP GET A GRIP PEOPLE. /CAPS
