Did the covenant have a dandy little luncheon with the forerunner and get this information straight from them? I wouldn't bet on it... you all know how wrong the covenant are on their thoughts on forerunner... they think activating halo is some sort of great journey, when all it is is a last resort weapon for killing the flood....
