1 ReplyOther than Veirty (it sucks to teach) it’s not hard. Kinda nice having everyone actually try for once. Ad clear roles are what hurt the overall community’s raid IQ more than anything.

Its not particularly complicated, its just very unforgiving

I won't vote because I need to pick all three, it isn't that complicated, yall are just bad, but it's definitely too complicated for regular folk, that's cuz their bad, but realistically speaking most ppl are bad, so what're you gonna do. Seriously though, while I think the raid is totally doable and not that bad it crosses the line of Reasonably learnable by most casual raiders and that should in some ways be a baseline, an activity that needs 6 ppl needs a reasonable population to do it in lfg comfortably.

Definitely needed to be more casual friendly…

1 ReplyIts only hard it you overcomplicate it
-
The raid itself isn't that complicated. The main issue is that it's a raid that asks that everyone be paying attention and have a passing familiarity with mechanics and that's just too much for a lot of people.

4 RepliesYup super hard to occasionally stand on a plate, pick up 3 things then deposit them… oh I hate that part where ur fighting the big floaty guy and u literally just stay alive while 2 people do actual mechanics
-
So make something hard instead of popular and fun? What bussiness model did that descision come from? Is that what you are asking?
-
Practice makes perfect.

It's not as complicated as people make it out to be.

3 RepliesIt's a hard raid to learn, but Bungie wanted to make a hard raid and they did so. If it was as easy as DSC or RoN it would be bad from a story perspective, Witness is literally the strongest enemy so hardest raid is fitting. It's practically impossible to make combat challenging besides contest mode, so complicated mechanics are the way to go. And it's only a problem for 4th encounter and a last one for 2 people.
