Blooming deep is doable in 6-8 minutes. I just did it first time today around 12 minute, but my build was not optimized and I played super cautiously (slow) because I wanted to get the ”no dying” triumph done. And I did it with prismatic titan (which many seem to think sucks compared to warlocks and hunters).

  • You do realize that you're talking about a different Lost Sector, right? You're talking about the BLOOMING Deep LS (and that's also the video you posted). This post is about the BROKEN Deep, which is a different LS.

    When i did that lost sector as Prismatic Warlock, it took me 28 mins for a Master Flawless run because of the subjugator room - onwards. It was a combo of Le Monarque + Stasis Turrets helping me dealing with the champs (unless i have my super up). That was before i used the Getaway Prismatic Warlock while being, 30 LLs under.

  • Ain't no way on earth that the average player finishes Broken Deep (Expert) in 6-8 minutes in its current state. I'm not debating that some players will or can get it done in that time, but those people are the few, not the many. This lost sector is way too over-tuned in its current form. I'm not saying it should be easy, but it shouldn't be this frustrating to play either.

  • One more thing to clarify.. I would not mind by any way if they were easier, my point was that they will be much more easier anyhow when people learn to do them and get stronger.

  • I have run lost sectors (on master) every time new ones have released using under leveled characters just to learn and see what are viable things for end game. (Triple 100 stats for example, are not.. yet a lot of people seem to value and keep using those instead of actually making something to benefit them). All your points are fair and your experience, but I argument back that you just don’t use proper build, weapons etc to do it if you suffer doing it. If you fail, don’t bang head against the wall, instead switch weapons, fragments, exotic etc and try again. Lost Sectors has have similar complaints as long as I remember from same reasons you said, and other reasons too (like ”impossible to use weapons against champs” etc). But.. There has always been builds, cover, strat etc to do these and you don’t need to be speedrunner god to do it. It was the same for instance with Neomuna back then. People struggled to do them, now they can be run by anyone in reasonable time.

  • I was waiting for the "Skill Issue" comment 😅 Just because YOU find a way, doesn't mean that there isn't an issue with the difficulty. The average player (which is the vast majority of the playerbase) does have issues with things like this. You clearly don't represent the average player (and neither do I if I'm being completely honest). I know I spent a good chunk of my post talking about overload champions, but they are only a small part of a larger gripe. There is too much packed into this one activity. Floors that don't allow you to regen your health, very little cover, walls/floors that boop you, enemy types that pull you from pillar to post, other enemies that shield all the other enemies, a boss that can one-shot you or suspend you through solid pillars, entrances into areas that make you drop in blindly with no cover to gather and compose yourself before you make your next move(s). This lost sector is absolutely doable (and will get easier over time), but right now, it's not in a good place in terms of enjoyment and or farmability.

  • I don’t believe ”average” players would do them no matter what, especially now when new toys are obtained from Rahool. But I do know that builds etc matter. Has nothing to do with ”skill issue”. I still have no build on my hunter that allows me to run it flawlessly in reasonable time -> so I also then have a ”skill issue” with it myself, but my titan and warlock are fine now. I did not complete it first try.. it was lot of trial and error to learn what works.

Now we can make exotic armour Artifice, I need more cyphers than ever and Rahool is one of the few consistent places to get them.

    I'm speaking about this one lost sector specifically. Lost Sectors as a whole are in a decent spot in terms of difficulty, (the Neomuna one with the arcade is still a pain when you get to the boss, but it's it's not something I've ever complained about.) It's just this one in particular that I believe needs some tweaking. The other Pale Heart Lost Sectors are way easier than this one. It doesn't need a HUGE nerf, just some adjustments here and there.
