Honestly, not much to say here, the title says it all. You guys have been on a more down hill decline than usual and it's going to drive you guys right into the ground. Sony is talking about all these profit margins and trying to get profit up, but also talking about deadlines and how they need to be met, whilst also cutting the team. All this whilst feeding off of any profits you make that should go back into the game and workers, you were doing better when you were an individual company.

Bungie can’t leave Sony, Sony bought and owns them now.
-
And to all of you saying I'm wrong, congrats, Sony just proved you wrong for me by laying off 900 workers following the notices that the sales of the PS5 were not up to what was expected, and are already moving on from the PS5

Dude you have your facts wrong.

> seriously thinking Sony is the problem in this equation

Allow me to explain with the aid of this easy to understand diagram. Bungie is a company providing a service. To maintain that service, work has to be done. Work doesn’t get done for free. If, suddenly, in the middle of a player drop period, they cut themselves off from the big money having mega corporation, the money starts to run dry. If the money runs dry, the workers don’t get paid and either quit or are let go. Content will become even more infrequent, and quality will become significantly lower.

What’s funny is that apparently Sony themselves are looking into the recent failures at Bungie. They ain’t the problem. Haven’t been for years.

They should have just stayed with Microsoft..

Profit is necessary for a company to stay in business, as are meeting deadlines.
