I shouldn’t say this honestly, but I think there’s a way to bypass the ban entirely. I’d you quit a game and after the ban is issued, if you switch to another character, I think your other characters are still able to play. With 3 characters, you’ll pretty much be able to completely circumvent the ban by switching between all 3 of them after quitting games.

I’ve found a better way. Instead, when loading into a match, just check the roster to see what the score is. If it’s a join in progress match, just close the gam while you’re still flying in. This will avoid the quit penalty since you were never in the game to begin with.

I’d be cautious about spreading this info else the Bungie overlords see this and patch it.
