Guess you don't get it huh? Quitting penalties are to try and curb quitters so you won't have join in progress matches.
Guess you don't get it huh? Quitting penalties are to try and curb quitters so you won't have join in progress matches.
See the problem with the banning system is that quitters have many other options if they get banned in all reality banning is a horrible solution specially in a trash pvp like destiny crucible were literary someone just has to press a button then the whole other team dies the moment they poke there toes out on top of that there is barely any rewards for staying in a game , so why should anyone stay in a match were they're literary being melted every second and then get jack squat at the end . Personally I believe Bungie should just get ride of crucible in general because they don't have a clue on how to make a good pvp mode anymore. Which is sad since there orginal halo games were some of the best pvp back then . How the mighty have fallen.
-
So by your metric you should never be in a match to quit. Quitting needs addressing and only quitters are upset.
-
guess what? it doesnt work.
-
if people continue to quit, it will move from timeouts to bans. in the end the only people crying over it are the quitters, so it has started a fire under them already. if people think quitting would just disappear after a week, then they weren't very bright to begin with. in the end the quitters will bring their own demise and continue to blame Bungie for them quitting.
-
Lol seems like you the one to go in a trials an get flawless for everyone for free lol😂😂 that ego lol
-
Stay off the drugs.
-
they are not going to ban people for quitting pvp matches, too many people quit games, thats too much lost revenue
-
if quitting continues to be a disruption, you can bet temp bans will be the next evolution. if people are so eager to quit, they should quit playing, permanently. it solves their personal issues, and Bungie's quitter issue.
-
Again with the ego lol😂
-
Another idiot joins the fray with nothing to say.
-
they will simply not ban people, temp or perm, not gonna happen.
-
and SBMM will never return, and they would never add timeouts to control too right? the disruption of their game hurts revenue more than the bans.
-
sbmm panders to the casual player, thats boosting the player base not reducing it. timeouts mean nothing, that just means time to switch to pve for a bit, they will not ban customers for quitting matches, and neither should they.
-
didn't ask what SBMM does, I pointed out that people said it would never return. just like you think bans won't happen. yes undesirables who effect others games should be removed. timeouts obviously do something, look at all of the quitters crying about the position they put themselves in.
-
Yh but his point is ppl still will and do quit and most cases it’s because they aren’t enjoying it so then someone will join in progress have the same issue n quit too
-
When quitters get pushed away the problem corrects itself. Shocking I know.

Edited by Lord Kielron: 9/18/2022 2:26:20 PMSorry to burst that aggressive bubble of yours, but this will literally never solve the problem. It’s just putting a bandaid on a Grand Canyon sized issue, and saying that Bungie actually doesn’t want to correct the issue. It will not deter quitters, and it will not solve the problem. So what is it actually doing? A whole lot of jack and 💩
-
aggressive? the weird ideas people have here are beyond reason. quitters are an issue, keep banning them until they quit permanently, problem solved.
-
You also do know, that your system would have to encompasses faultily internet also right? So, you were having a rough night with your net, and now your banned from Destiny 2 PVP? hmmm.. That sucks. Because, on their end, all they see is your connection to the host (P2P) went dark. Doesn't say how, or why. Doesn't factor in Johnny in Europe, on a VPN, using net limiter having a blasting in a US lobby. The quitter issue is only scratching the surface, Bungie needs to find out why the quitting is so bad compared to other titles and game times. The root cause, like example, these 30-90 backfill lobbies need to go. Or if I see my toon in the front, I know we doomed.

Quitters have a myriad of excuses.
-
I see, one liners. Nice.
-
you scrolled through enough of my lines before replying excuses that hold no weight. you received the amount of lines you deserved.

Oh goodness, God complex up in here. I'm done. But I will copy pasta my exact post on everyone's Post in this post, because it's not just the quitters, there is a reason why people are quitting so much lately. A reason why we are even here having this conversation on this post. It is irritated enough players to where they have outreached and spoken out.
