jorums howl bugged and not progressing
Hey Team,
I have an issue which may or may not be on your radar. The "jorums howl" quest for the seal is not progresssing for me.
As you can see from the screen record below on the twitter link, I have four IB oraments on, plus the emblem, and I can see my bonus modifier, however it does not seem to be progressing for the seal.

Some basic info for you:
- I am on the PS5 with most up to date versions of Destiny and the PS5 firmware.
- I am in the UK and played four games starting at 20:06:39 and the last one started at 20:47:49
- I was wearing the same armour pieces the entire time.

I guess it could be that the seal is only working for IB armour rather then IB ormaments, however I am not sure if that is by design or an accident.
Shout if you need any more info.

After some experimentation, I discovered that if you have MORE than 5 pieces of Iron Banner, be it armor, ornaments, or weapons, it would not progress at all, but when I have 5 or less, it would. For example: I had a full set of Ornaments equipped(+5), the Iron Forerunner bond(another +1), and the Risswalker(+1), for a total of "7" Once I removed 2 of my ornaments, the quest started progressing

1 ReplyHey Friends, Me and my clan have been doing some testing: From what we can see ANY ornaments (year-one ornaments and any Forsaken+ armor transmogged) count toward armor points in addition to armor from IB drops. BUT the first piece is four triumph points while additional pieces only count for one triumph point for a total of eight points while wearing a full set (4 + 1 + 1 + 1 +1) AND going over five armor points (IB armor and ornaments count for one armor point each) will bug out and does NOT count towards triumph. Two IB armor pieces + three ornamets = five armor points Two IB armor pieces + four ornaments = six armor points, zero progress toward Jorum's Howl. DO NOT GO OVER FIVE ARMOR POINTS and we believe this should work.

Hi there, Thanks for your report. We're currently investigating this issue. We recommend swapping out Iron Banner emblems, as well as making sure you don't have any Iron Banner ornaments applied on your currently equipped Iron Banner armor pieces.

same issue. 5 IB pieces (full Iron Forerunners), 5 IB Ornaments (Iron Will) with IB Emblem (Light Unbridled). and 0 progress after 4 games. PS5.

Same here, using 4 IB armor, with 4 IB ornament because the new one is ugly as hell, and no progress for me after 5 maches ... :(

1 ReplyI am having the same issue. Wearing both IB armor and IB ornaments. No progress to the Jodrums Howl quest step. This is on PC. My buddy is in my fireteam and he's getting reputation...

I found a fix for me. If you have a piece of IB armor it counts as 1 for the armor bonus. If you put an IB ornament on that same piece of IB gear it makes it 2 points. I had three IB armor each with IB ornaments totaling 6 points. I was getting no progress on any part that needed you to wear armor. I took off one of the IB ornaments so now my total is 5. Now all the quest steps are progressing as normal.

As an update, when I am using IB Armour instead of ornaments, it is now progressing. Not sure if that is intentional or not.
