I actually really like it. It gives me reason to try off archetypes and invest in a weapon. My current real enjoyment is the Forensic Nightmare. It's level 13 atm and I just slotted it with enhanced headstone. It's kind of a monster. I just need to get the materials for enhanced perpetual motion and we're golden. I understand the caps complaints but honestly it's not a huge deal for me. I keep on a single track of one goal at a time. Right now it's Forensic Nightmare. Next will probably be the 360 auto from throne world. By the time I've finished that up hopefully I'll have at least one raid weapon pattern to start cracking on. What I would love to see is a passive exotic armor crafting system. Getting a piece of exotic armor to drop gives a generic pattern that lets you craft one with 12 total stats (2 in each stat) and then each activity completed with the armor on (scaling up for difficulty) gives a few points to allocate as you wish up until the armor hits 70 total stats. Completely maxing adds the artiface mod slot. At first tanking your stats would be awful but you'll have your perfect roll and an extra mod slot.
